With Starship’s 4th integrated flight test right around the corner I thought it was finally time to share our latest SpaceX Starship presentation supercut, once again faithfully created by our amazing Mr GameplayReviewUK. The Next Frontier Awaits, and as we are gearing up for this next gigantic spectacle, it’s always good to step out and look at the big picture. We’ve taken Elon’s 2024 presentation, cut down the repetition and unnecessary bits, and served it up right here as a neat bonus video. There was a load of great stuff in this so if you missed it, watched only some of it, or just want a fun refresh mixed with wonderful music, you are going to love this.

  1. If you know people that kind of just don’t get “WHY” we care about this massive step in our space capability, perhaps sharing this one would be a good start. So many people I talk to still don’t get it. While you are at it, perhaps also send them off to watch The Expanse too. 🤣

  2. So we don’t have any video footage going all the way out to space or to the moon and back but we’ll find a way to land a rocket what a crock sht

  3. Video of starship reentry:The plasma torch that enters the forward flap melts the stainless steel and once inside inflated/expands the flap taking out the ribs and stringers. This shows in slow motion what happened to Columbia.

  5. . I have an idea about the heat shields.
    Look at a heat shield. Let’s call the flat top 12 o’clock. Now, rotate it 90° left or right doesn’t matter. Looking at the sheild on end. 25% of the way down and 25% of the way up drill or cast in tunnels about 3mm all the way through.
    Take a fine braided tungsten wire with fiberglass insolation and thread it through the sheild to the next and so on through all the heat shields. The top of one shield will be lashed to the bottom of the one next to it and so on. At one end of the wire, there should be a simple spring tensioner that will be covered by a bonded on shield. At the other end another adjustable spring tensioner the tension to be calculated. Also ultimately covered by a bonded on shield.
